EyeInspect and Microvascular Health Assessment
EyeInspect
EyeInspect is a retinal assessment that uses Artificial Intelligence technology to help detect underlying eye and health problems (including some chronic diseases). You can add this to your regular eye test for free. This service includes an EyeInspect report that details information about your eye health and a range of underlying health problems.
Microvascular Health Assessment
Did you know that your eyes are the only organ in the body where blood vessels can be viewed directly without invasive procedures? As many vascular problems can lead to changes in the blood vessels in the retina of your eyes, retinal assessments can also predict how healthy your heart is overall. The Microvascular Health Assessment helps to understand whether you are at risk of developing a cardiovascular disease within the next 5 years.
Early detection of health problems can make a huge difference to your future wellbeing. If a health problem is detected, you can discuss your report further with your Optometrist or a trusted medical professional.
